WCG 61 - Start: January 17, 2023 @ 6:30 PM CST

January 17, 2023 at 6:30 pm (CST) | Please fill out this form and click submit to sign up for the 6-Session Wives Care Group meeting starting January 17, 2023, at 6:30 pm (Central Standard Time). The Wives Care Group sessions will give your healing journey a boost. You will safely connect with others, and interact with practical and biblically-based content, and ideas for best practices from the facilitators. This experience will provide you with basic guardrails for this challenging journey.

The meetings will take place weekly on Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 pm Central Time.
U.S. time zones:
AST (Atlantic) - 8:30 pm
EST (Eastern) - 7:30 pm
CST (Central) - 6:30 pm
MST (Mountain) - 5:30 pm
PST (Pacific) - 4:30 pm
AKST (Alaska) - 3:30 pm
HST (Hawaii) - 2:30 pm

Our program is designed to make it easier for a woman who has been hurt by her husband's sexual brokenness to embrace the healing path Jesus has for her.
The group meeting runs for 90 min. You can join us from your home, car, or any other place that is comfortable for you.
Individual work, which includes checking out email resources and doing exercises, is optional. Each person can do what feels healing to her. It generally requires an average of 1 to 2 hours per week if you choose to do everything.
You will either need a computer, tablet, or phone along with privacy to speak your heart. We will meet for a total of six sessions for 90 minutes each. You can opt to meet through Zoom Video Conferencing or, more anonymously, by calling in from any phone.

Each group will be led by two seasoned facilitators who have experienced significant healing and growth and who now desire to minister hope to others. Some are professionals in betrayal trauma care, others are trained, peer facilitators. This is a long-term journey and none of us claim to have "arrived". Expect candor, vulnerability, and compassion in the way we lead. Gigi Hopkins is the Wives Care Groups Coordinator and will be involved in varying degrees. God has redeemed the pain of all of us in leadership to a place of usefulness. We are profoundly grateful and trust that He will do the same for you, in His time and His way.

Basic Education - You will receive weekly emails with resources that will set a foundation for the group discussion. Prep for the sessions can be adapted to the time and effort the attendee can give. Getting a better understanding of what you are dealing with is empowering. Email contents will address areas such as facing our reality, dealing with feelings, grieving, boundaries, forgiveness, healthy detachment, self-care, etc.

Connection - Participants will get to share and learn from others who are on a similar journey. All participants must agree to keep identities and what is shared in the group confidential. This kind of safe and supportive interaction is of utmost importance in our healing! Something in our human nature cries out to connect with others in times of suffering. Remaining in isolation leaves this need unnecessarily unmet. Participants are encouraged to reach out to each other through group exercises and beyond.

After Care - Because we have an awesome Wives Care volunteer team, we can offer a monthly 90-minute Zoom meeting called TouchPoint and a private FaceBook group free of charge to all who attend our care groups. These are ways to keep connected and encouraged on this journey.

Space is limited to 8 ladies per group. The total cost is $297. We do not offer payment plans, but we do offer a subsidized value (check on the form).
